INTERNAL - WEBCASTS - What do I need to know about hosting a webcast on WebEx?

I want to know the tips for hosting a WebEx webcast session.

Please use the Best Practices for Client Hosted Webcasts as a guide when discussing your client's potential webcast platform with your client.

If your client is hosting a webcast via WebEx, here's what you need to know:

  •  Attendees and panelists may use the chat box ONLY to communicate questions and comments.
  •  Attendees and panelists have audio and video capabilities.
  •  Attendees should mute once they have entered the webcast
  • Polls will be launched and shared by the client
  • There is no practice session, everyone comes into the webcast live
